Dr. Ben Hurst Freeman, MD

Dr. Freeman graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Biology and received his MD from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr Freeman completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. He also completed his Fellowship training at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Freeman is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He specializes in surgery of the hand. He is a member of most area hospital staffs, the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Freeman is married with three children and is an avid golfer.
