Dr. Barry Nahin has been helping his patients stay healthy for over 30 years.

Dr. Nahin was born and raised in Southern California. It was during high school when he realized that he wanted to spend the rest of his life helping people. He studied pre- med at the prestigious University of California San Diego (UCSD) and then attended medical school at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC, which is one of the most selective medical schools in the country. Dr. Nahin discovered in medical school that he wanted to be a general practice physician, focusing on a patient’s overall health and prevention of illness and disease as well as developing ongoing, personal patient-physician relationships. After graduation, he moved back to the San Fernando Valley and completed his medical training in Family Medicine at the Northridge Hospital Medical Center, which is affiliated with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. While there, Dr. Nahin earned the Best Resident Award and the Residency Award of Excellence. Soon after his residency graduation, he packed his car with his belongings, his wife and his then 1 year old daughter and drove across the country to start his medical career. During his 18 years in the Washington, DC suburbs in Montgomery County, Maryland, he developed a very successful practice, ultimately helping his practice grow to add multiple practitioners over 3 office sites.

In 2011, Dr. Nahin moved to Las Vegas to be a provider for a multi-specialty, concierge practice. Although the concept was beloved by both the patients and physicians alike, the practice was unsustainable, and folded in 2013. Dr. Nahin then immediately joined a large hospital-based medical group where he developed a large and very loyal following over his 8 years there. However, he came to realize that he was not able to treat his patients with the quality care that they deserved due to the demands of “corporate medicine”.

Throughout his career, Dr. Nahin has garnered multiple accolades from his patients and peers alike. He is a board-certified Family Physician, and he maintains his certification by continually educating himself with the most recent changes in medical management, assuring that he stays up to date to give his patients the best care possible. Although his training and initial practice included taking care of patients of all ages, over the years his practice has transformed to exclusively taking care of adult and geriatric patients.

Dr. Nahin has been married to his amazing wife, Lauren, since 1990. He is the proud father of 2 daughters and 2 son-in-laws, and he enjoys his regular video chats with his grandson, Akiva.

Dr. Nahin enjoys playing tennis on a regular basis as well as hiking. His hobbies include photography, collecting NFTs, and watching sports (especially rooting for the Vegas Golden Knights and Raiders in addition to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lakers and Rams).
