Meet Dr. Buchanan A Texas native, Dr. Buchanan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Baylor University and the Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) from the Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Since 1987, Dr. Buchanan has practiced general dentistry in Dallas. Dr. Buchanan is focused on providing his patients with the highest quality dental care using the latest in advanced dental techniques, while building long lasting, trust-based relationships with all his patients. In 2003, Dr. Buchanan became a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry. Achieving Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry is one of the few added distinctions a general dentist can achieve. The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is the only professional association exclusively serving the interests and needs of a general dentist. To earn Fellowship in the AGD, dentist must take more than 500 hours of educational courses in various disciplines. Candidates must also pass a rigorous …exam. "I love my long-term relationship with Dr. Buchanan and his staff! ;-) Ally (dental hygienist) does a phenomenal job keeping my teeth looking their best. Dr. Buchanan has replaced some of my very old crowns over the last few years, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I've had other dentists over the years, but this is the only one I actually look forward to seeing! I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Buchanan for any dental needs. "

"This is by far the best dentist in town! Every time I’m in the office, the staff is welcoming, friendly, and extremely professional. I have had Allie, Michelle, and Carlyn clean my teeth and each one of them have been very knowledgeable, have answered every question and have made me feel comfortable sitting in the chair especially during these covid times. Dr. Buchanan is very thorough and never pushes any unnecessary treatment. Angela, Dr B’s assistant, is amazing especially when it times for me to get any treatment done. And Keri is great to work with when talking about finances and answering any questions I have. Can’t recommend this office enough!! They’re truly the best
