"I cannot say enough about Dr. Avrom Caplan!!! He was super smart , thoughtful and determined to figure out what my 15 yr old daughter had. No one had been able to figure it out and he was beyond knowledgeable and thorough. He looked at All her blood work - had to do a deep and difficult biopsy and made sure my daughter was comfortable, not in pain and that there would not be a long lasting scar - he was funny too! He called me yesterday a Friday night 7pm and spent 45 min explaining EVERYTHING. He would have stayed on the phone even longer if I needed!! He also wanted to mk sure any further lab work he ordered would be covered by my insurence and if not he would contact one of the other Dr’s we had seen and have them order it so it would be covered. Wow! He is 99% sure he knows what my daughter has but still wants to speak to a few colleagues and do some more blood work. Who does that !!!! He also discussed several different medications used to treat what my daughter has and why he ...
would use the medication he is recommending. The least harmful but effective. I am sooooo beyond impressed and grateful to have found Dr. Caplan. Thank You Thank You Thank You Dr. Caplan !!! ?????????????????????? "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
