"I used to be a patient of his (24yo) and had gone into see him two separate times (6 months prior to diagnosis) complaining of severe pain due to tumors that were growing at that point and he told me I had just pulled a muscle and refused to see me until I had visited the ER and a CAT scan and blood work showed that I was suffering from Stage 4 metastatic cancer as well as internal bleeding due to the size of the tumors. He then wanted to see me and my mother about a week later and when he had come into the room he sat down, looked at me and my mother, and the first thing he said was “I think you know what caused this,”in which he was referring to a prior history of smoking. Arun Bansal is unbelievably unprofessional, unsympathetic, and problematic. This man should not be able to practice medicine and should have his license revoked."

"Limited knowledge, little understanding, but a lot of ego. Treats patients with a paternalistic condescension, not accepting others, even the patient, may know more than he does. Every act, including requiring a visit before medicine renewals, are designed to put the patient in their place. Bansal is better at billing than medicine. Backed by Berkshire Health Systems, they manage to extract maximum dollars from each patient. "

"Dr. Bansal has neither bedside manner nor a basic grasp of medicine. I cannot emphasize this enough: find another doctor. He did not know what an antibody value was on some recent bloodwork I brought with me—something that any doctor should know off the top of their head. He interrupted me many times to tell me that we would not get to everything I wanted to cover in the appointment, but his lecturing itself took up about half the appointment time (I suspect he wanted to bill me for two visits to make more $$). Out of nowhere, he threatened to end the appointment twice, which escalated the already very uncomfortable energy he created. Warning for women/gender nonconforming folks: he seemed very uncomfortable when performing a physical exam of me and asked multiple times whether I wanted someone to observe him while he was touching me—which honestly made me feel like *he* was the one who needed a chaperone in the room."
