OVERVIEW
Dr. Arleen Azar-Mehr is a Los Angeles orthodontist in the San Fernando Valley. She is extremely experienced and highly skilled in all aspects of dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontic treatments, including dental braces. She is dedicated to helping the entire family achieve beautiful smiles and healthy teeth and gums that last a lifetime.
Dr. Azar-Mehr completed her orthodontic training at the University of Southern California, receiving her dental degree, as well as her master's degree in Craniofacial Biology. She also taught at UCLA Dental School, Orthodontic Department. A third generation dentist, her maternal grandfather was the first Dean of Dental School at Korea's, Seoul National University. Additionally, her husband is an orthodontist and both her parents are dentists, each serving as professors at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.
Dr. Azar-Mehr is proud to announce that she is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists – an achievement and …honor held by only 35% of practicing orthodontists in the nation. She is also a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists (ABO), American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO), California Association of Orthodontics (CAO), San Fernando Valley Dental Society (SFVDS), American Dental Association (ADA), and the California Dental Association (CDA). Dr. Azar-Mehr is committed to the art and science of moving teeth and realigning the jaws to achieve an optimum bite, facial balance and a healthier, more attractive smile.
