"I will start with the positive first. I have found Dr Jindal to be prompt, and very professional. However, for years all I have gotten out of my appointments with him is he reads me my numbers and asks if I have any questions. Never any suggestions, diet advice, information about pump advancements, new inventions coming down the line. When I ask him specific questions I don't get answers. It is so frustrating. I decided to upgrade my CGM through Medtronic and he didn't even know there was one. I cannot take it anymore."

"If I could give him zero stars, I would. - Friday, June 23, 2023 2:00 pm Appointment - HH Endocrinology & Diabetes Clinic - Total thyroidectomy: May 08. I was scheduled for a “blocked Friday” appointment to due to the complexity of the appointment needed. I completed all my paperwork and arrived 30 minutes prior to my 2:00 pm appointment, as instructed. I had a lengthy list of questions for Dr. Jindal as I was still experiencing extreme fatigue and many other symptoms that would be associated with hypothyroidism/Hashimoto’s Disease. After waiting an additional 30 minutes beyond my appointment time, Dr. Jindal came into the room (2:32 pm). His initial statement was something along the following lines: "your cancer was really small but we will check your levels today and then again in 6 weeks. You probably don't need radiation. Any questions?" I was shocked at his abruptness and that I would not require any radiation. My surgeon said that he felt like I would need at least one round ...
due to lymphatic invasion. So I asked Dr. Jindal, "yes, I have some questions because none of this tracks with what the other doctors on my care team have said. What about the lymphatic invasion my surgeon informed me about at my post op appt?” He ignored my question and asked Nick, my husband, why I was wearing a mask and he was not. He said, "do you just not believe in all this?" I was really confused and redirected, asking, "when will I start to feel better?" He said, "Thyroid cancer doesn't have any symptoms so whatever your feeling is something else and you need to go back to your primary care doctor." Confused, I teared up and tried to explain that yes, I had some of these symptoms before my surgery (untreated Hashimotos?) but they were so much worse after my surgery. Dr. Jindal interrupted me and said I was probably anemic and had sleep apnea. I let him know that I had already been tested for all those things. I asked Dr. Jindal, "but some of this might be because of low levels of my synthroid, right?" He asked to look at my hands and then said, "if I give you too much synthroid your bones will become brittle and you'll have heart problems." I looked at Nick, because I felt like Dr. Jindal was ignoring me. My husband said, "she is really not feeling well and we were hoping to get some answers on that, we've had to switch doctors to get anyone to listen." Dr. Jindal said, “Well, I can only treat what I can treat.” And he got up and left the room. I assumed that he was getting more information or something. No, that was the end of my visit with Dr. Jindal (2:37 pm). Less than 5 minutes after an hour of waiting. The nurse came in and I asked if the doctor was coming back in to hear what my concerns were. She apologized and said that she was just there to give me lab orders and schedule a follow up. I went down to the lab in tears and had my blood drawn. Then I left. I have never felt more disrespected or unheard by a medical professional. I was absolutely shocked and disgusted at his lack of professionalism, his lack of empathy, and his lack of bedside manner. There was absolutely no reason why he could not listen to what my concerns were or ask what symptoms I was referring to and help me understand why my surgeon was concerned about certain things (lymphatic invasion) but that Dr. Jindal was not. I am disgusted by my “care” from Dr. Jindal and would filed a formal grievance against him. I hope that no other patients have to experience the humiliation and degradation at the hands of this physician. Leaving his office was the most emotionally exhausting experience. His oath of “do no harm” was not upheld this day. At this point I do not even want to return to him for follow up since I don’t feel like any of my questions will be addressed and my plan of care is not explained to me by this physician. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
