Why did you become a medical provider?
I became a medical provider driven by a deep passion for science, which ignited my curiosity about the intricate workings of the human body and the art of healing. However, what truly motivates me in this profession is the profound connection with people and the human element of medicine. I find immense fulfillment in caring for patients during their most vulnerable and challenging moments, knowing that I possess the knowledge and capability to offer comfort and treatment, ultimately enhancing their quality of life and their precious time with loved ones.
The opportunity to meet someone in their most vulnerable state, to look into their eyes and offer not just hope but the possibility of a cure, is a privilege that humbles me. It's a reminder that medicine is not only about science and skill but also about the profound impact we can have on individuals and their families. This intersection of science, human connection, and the potential for …life-changing outcomes is why I chose to become a medical provider and continue to be inspired by my patients and this noble profession every day.
What’s your philosophy of care?
As a doctor, my philosophy of care revolves around patient-centered principles, emphasizing the importance of tailoring healthcare to the individual needs and preferences of each patient. I believe in a team approach, recognizing that healthcare is a collaborative effort that involves not only the patient but also a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Compassionate care is at the core of my practice, as I believe that showing empathy and understanding towards patients fosters trust and facilitates healing. Importantly, I strive to treat patients as whole individuals, not just as carriers of diseases. This means considering their physical, emotional, and social well-being, and addressing their concerns holistically to provide comprehensive and effective healthcare.
