"Wonderful doctor. He actually cares about people. These other reviewers complaining about prices, these are pretty average for a private psychiatrist. Community behavioral health may be easier for you guys. "

"I have known Andrew for over 12 years. I have to agree that he overbooks appointments but that is because he wants to help as many patients as possible regardless of your ability to pay. I know many Psychiatrists personally; I am also a client-my best friend sees Andrew as well and he knows psychotropic meds as a big pharms expert in clinical trials who was on the team that validated the efficacy of LEXAPRO. we have the ability to pay but are willing to wait knowing he is not chasing the almighty buck as are most of his colleagues. In fact, I know shrinks that REFUSE to continue to see patients if they cannot pay. That being said Andrew is warm, brilliant, personable, and compassionate. His TMS treatments were instrumental in helping me with chronic migraines, a side effect of TMS treatments, that are a result of a horrible surgical accident that disabled me. Andrew gets it. SO if you can find another Ivy League trained Psychiatrist who will see you without payment if your insurance ...
won't pay him.. go for it. He is the best there is in this town. "

"DO NOT GO HERE! The disorganization and lack of competence you will find at this office is absolutely absurd. First of all, you can’t even contact the office by phone. Scheduling and any issues are either done in person or through email, but good luck getting an answer back through email without having to follow up with them a handful of times first. I’ve also had several billing issues with this office. They tried to charge me over $2,000 for mistakes they clearly made and they refused to admit it. It could not have been more obvious that they were trying to trick me into paying them money I never owed them. I’ve also read that other patients have dealt with the office committing insurance fraud. As far as the waiting time to be seen goes, it is beyond normal for a doctor’s office. I once waited two hours for my appointment and have seen other patients in the waiting room get fed up and leave for dealing with the same issue. My appointments have also gotten cancelled with notice of ...
only 30 minutes beforehand. More than once I wasn’t notified at all. Another time I showed up to the office at my scheduled time and the office was closed - again, no one told me anything. Over nearly two years as a patient here it became more and more clear to me that this office is greedy and cares more about money than treating patients with respect and proper care. If you have stress and anxiety, being a patient at this office will worsen it. All that being said, it’s been an extremely irritating and disappointing time going here and I highly recommend that you seek treatment elsewhere. "

"If I could give Dr. Peshek zero stars, I would. This man provided the worst patient care I have ever seen or received. He overprescribed medications and I ended up in the ER with extrapyramidal syndrome. He was frequently over 45 minutes late and difficult to contact. He took advantage of my lack of knowledge of the mental health system and medications."

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
