"Excellent anterior hip replacement. Minimal pain and quick recovery. Dr Braziel called me the day prior to my surgery just to check in. I had a very smooth recovery but 5 weeks after I had intense pain and swelling needing another 2 doses of oxycodone (i had taken only 2 doses since surgery). I called the office on Fri and left a message. I then called my primary care and was seen on that Fri afternoon and blood work was ordered and some assessment of my function (back on crutches!) and sleep etc. My 6mo followup was on the following Monday. Dr Braziel checked my xray and said everything is fine. Not a cyst, hematoma, displacement just a little blip. I still don't know what it was but it caused anxiety. I'm great now, no limp, no pain but I wish Dr Braziel had asked more about lifestyle and guessed at reason for dramatic change in function and pain 5 weeks out. Still a 5 star review though. "

"Dr. Braziel did my hip replacement at NEBH. At my first consultation, I really liked his relaxed, straightforward style. Think he figured out that I wanted an "executive summary" of my specific condition and ow surgery could help. Felt completely confident, and my surgery went so smoothly. NEBH and Dr. Braziel were so good. When I had concerns or questions after surgery,I'd call the office, expecting a nurse or PA to call...but it was Dr. B himself who called. He even called my home PT person, who was shocked together a call from the surgeon. The whole experience has made me feel confident in, and connected to my surgeon. Highly recommend "
