"She was not prepared for our visit by synching up outside records prior to our visit. She was able to do this at our first visit months ago, but was complaining to me this time that she did not have access to my child’s medical records and talking as though it’s unacceptable. We made our appointment 2 weeks out. I never got a phone call or MyChart message that she did not have access to records (that she did before) and needed that prior to our visit in order for us to be prepared when we came in. That’s money out of my pocket for an unprepared physician and a waste of our time. She is not up to speed on current forms of treatment, which include diet or certain testing modalities and seems unwilling to be open to it. So much so that when I asked her for information on a certain diet she told me to seek care with our previous doctor in Houston. We sought a second opinion and the doctor tried to synch up with her for local care and she was very perturbed with it not being her way. I tried ...
to explain that we’d work as a team and unfortunately her crass attitude about it wasn’t allowing her to be open to this. She agreed to begin the process to administer the medication being recommended, but was very disgruntled about it. As a mother, I want my child’s doctor to respect my opinion as well and she seemed very unwilling to listen to my perspective. I work in the medical field and understand how things evolve, plan of care, providing quality bedside manner and making patients and parents feel comfortable. If she was not interested in working with us, I would totally have respected a professional response stating this. Her unprofessional behavior during my child’s last visit is enough for me to drive 2.5 hours to our previous pediatric GI for future care. "

"We have been following Dr. Glaser since 2012 when my daughter was 2. We had issues with a previous doctor that would not follow up after requesting further testing. When we switched to Dr. Glaser, she immediately tested my daughter for EoE and found the root of most of our issues prior to that, that the other doctor failed to even think of testing. My daughter is 12 now and has thrived under Dr. Glaser's care and we were very sad to see her leave. We wish her nothing but the best in her new practice."

"I really can't believe some of the reviews for Dr Glaser on here because we like Dr Glaser. She wasn't in a hurry. When in the office he took her time and listened to all our concerns. We have gone to Dallas for procedures but having a procedure close to home was really nice. The hospital isn't dedicated pediatric but they have staff with the experience. I do feel the hospital could make some changes to be more peds focused but really that is minor details. After the procedure Dr Glaser probably spent 10xs the amount we had seen from the Dallas MD explaining everything. "
