"Excellent physician. Had 4 ERCP’s with Dr. Hinds. Cannot ask for a better, thorough, compassionate and talented gastroenterologist. She is the only GI physician that I would use."

"I had a endoscopy/colonoscopy this past spring with Dr Hinds. I was not impressed. I am from Illinois, and my gastrologist always talked with me first before the procedure was done. After the procedure he would come into the room once I was coherent and talk to me about what he found. Dr hinds passing by stopped and before I was totally coherent talked to me about taking some tests and sending it out to be looked at. If this was my gastrologist back home he would have me set up an appointment and talk to me about the test results. After the biopsy’s came back, her office told me to up my pantoprazole to 80mg. Office stated that I had to contact my primary physician regarding upping the medication since he was the one prescribed the medication. So I called my primary physician and the office stated it was up to Dr Hinds office to up the medication because Dr Hinds found the bacteria and was recommending the increase of pantoprazole. I don’t have time to go back and forth arguing about ...
who should up my medication. I also have a friend who has a rare condition, she has seen Dr Hinds and has not received the care that she needed (for example checking her gallbladder) doing more tests on my friend to rule out certain diseases. I don’t know all the details of her condition but I do know that Dr Hinds is preventing her to get the care that she desperately needs and her office has not been any help. My friends primary physician has been doing the work that Dr Hinds should be doing like finding a specialists for her condition and trying to get her in quickly because my friend is skin and bones because she cannot process food. Dr Hinds should have been following up on her medications instead she increased one medication and refuse to lower the dose. This case should be looked into! I’m speaking on behalf of my friend. I have not given details because she does not know that I am complaining about Dr Hinds. "
