Dr. Ahmet Ergin, MD

Dr. Ahmet Ergin is an endocrinologist with a special interest and passion for diabetes care. He earned his medical degree with honors at Marmara University School of Medicine in Istanbul, Turkey, and completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism. He is also a certified diabetes educator.Dr. Ergin’s special interests include diabetes management utilizing the modern methods such as patient empowerment, motivational interviewing techniques as well as latest technologies such as remote glucose monitoring, artificial pancreas technology, insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring. He believes in patient empowerment and use of diabetes technology as essential components of diabetes care.Dr. Ergin understands that diabetes care requires a holistic approach. He is very well aware of rising medication costs, insurance premiums …and cost of diabetes complications. He believes respecting patient’s time. For him, being responsive and responsible anytime patients need him or his team is the essence of high quality diabetes care.
