"Horrible doctor. He takes advantage of older patients and just wants to make money from doing more procedures. He will claim he explained a procedure to an older patient and had them sign a consent form even though he knows the patient is forgetful and has another caretaker. He doesn’t care to inform family of any checkups or procedures on the patient and has a big ego. Don’t harm yourself by going to him, any other doctor will be 100 times better"

"Horrible office, Apex in Nutley. A 9:30am appt for procedure turned into not even being taking out of waiting room at ck in till 1:20pm for prep. I specifically asked when I dropped my husband off what time approx should I be back for pickup. Response was we will call you. I expressed we are from an hr away, id be finding things to do in area, as we have told them prior and I'd like at least some info. Nothing except we will call. My husband texted at 11:15am and he was still waiting. I then called them at 12:30pm to get approx time because I assumed he'd be in already. I was placed on hold 18 mins, and the gentleman said this is a main number for all locations, said he would call Nutley and have them call me. I waited another half hr with no returned call. Finally I drove back there, asked how much longer and was told he just was taken back for prep. Tgis was 1:20pm ..Needless to say I was livid, and spoke my mind. The office manager went back and said procedure had started. ...
This was suppose to be approximately an hr procedure and up to hr recovery. At 2pm office manager said Dr Shah would be out to speak to me in a few minutes about the experience I was having with the office. I said oh good he done with procedure? She said no Dr Shah didn't do procedure. My husband and I both were under impression Dr Shah would be doing it. I was still waiting at 3:pm for update, and Dr Shah. At 3:10 my husband texted and said he was in recovery he'd be out in 15 mins. I went to get car, waiting again. Still no sign of this Dr Shah who should have come speak to me, or my husband. Next I know they were keeping my husband another 45 mins. He finally got out 5pm. This is a small office with shoulder to shoulder people. People waiting in chairs in hall and a few chairs in another room. Very unorganized, not the most well kept office either. Sitting there 2 other patients complained about their couple hr wait time and another woman loudly told staff off. I couldn't blame her. This office is aware of my husband's medical issues, memory loss, and cognitive issues, there was no reason why they couldnt be communicating with me of any hours of delays, or updates. I personally spoke to a woman virtually there.prior to any of his appts and all of his conditions were discussed. If I give a zero I would. "

"Horrible, careless, dangerous doctor.... does not follow through and is not knowledgeable about conditions. "

"My family member lost their life because of this careless doctor. Do NOT go to this doctor. He has a huge ego and is only concerned with making more money off of procedures to feed his ego. "

"Felt extremely patronized, he spent the whole appointment talking down to me and convinced me I needed extra follow ups and procedures to charge me more. When I switched to another doctor, they informed me that Dr. Shah's instructions were absolute nonsense and that he was taking advantage "

"Keep going and find another doctor. The reviews about this doctor not caring about his patients and only wanting to make money are true. This man does not do a thorough history and does not communicate what will be done. He is unethical and dangerous. Please protect yourself and go somewhere else. "

"This doctor is dangerous. Only looking to do do a procedure and you are treated like a slab of meat on a table. Negligent and not thorough at all. Does not do his homework! Stay away from him!! Dr Anuj Shah! "

"Probably one of the worst doctors I have visited. Just tries to act all super. A big show off and cannot even diagnose a simple issue. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this person."

"Did not listen or review comparative MRI's of multiple conditions. Moved right away to his interventions whether or not it is needed, since he makes money by putting an implant in your body. Keep looking, this is not a good environment."
