"Dr Aggarwal did a phenomenal job of taking care of my brother during his stay at Piedmont Hospital- she took the time to understand his condition, visited him multiple times at bedside to keep him happy, and took extra time to explain the treatment to the family. The hospital has its flaws but Dr Aggarwal made it easier for us. Thank you!"

"Dr. Aggarwal is a terrible, arrogant and uncaring doctor. My mom was at Piedmont Hospital two days due to bad flu-like reaction to a vaccine, but doing well, going to come home, and then she suddenly went unconscious. Dr. Aggarwal, the floor doctor in charge, was contacted by the nurse and she did not even come to my mom’s room. My mom was left lying alone unconscious, which is how my sister found her at the hospital. Dr. Aggarwal, without seeing my mom, insisted to my sister by phone my mom aspirated, causing unconsciousness. My mom lay unconscious for four days and when she became conscious, she could not speak or move her left side. Dr. Aggarwal did not examine my mom and would not order an MRI to check for a stroke. Instead, she discharged my mom with no diagnose. We appealed the discharge. Dr. Aggarwal never once walked over to the bed to examine my mom, if she had she would have seen that one side of her face was drooping and that she could not speak or move one side, all obvious ...
symptoms of a stroke. 14 days after my mom went unconscious, they finally did an MRI. The MRI showed a massive stroke causing global aphasia. Before my mom went to the hospital, she was a vibrant, beautiful, healthy 93-year-old enjoying her life. I think because of her age Dr. Aggarwal didn’t want to bother with her. Also, I think that Dr. Aggarwal knew she made a bad call the first day my mom went unconscious and didn’t want the MRI to prove that. Once we found got a diagnosis, we brought my mom home with hospice and 24-hour care. Because of Dr. Aggarwal my mom suffered a needless miserable prolonged stay in the hospital in the last weeks of her life while we were trying to simply get an MRI for a diagnosis. Dr. Aggarwal caused my mom and us a tremendous amount of undue suffering. Worst doctor ever. "

a massive stroke causing global aphasia, affecting her ability to speak, understand words, and unable to move her left side. Before my mom went to the hospital, she was a vibrant, funny, healthy 93-year-old enjoying her life. I suspect because of her age Dr. Aggarwal didn’t want to bother with her. I also suspect that Dr. Aggarwal knew she made a bad call the first day my mom went unconscious and didn’t want the MRI to prove that. Once we finally got the MRI and knew what was wrong with my mom, we brought her home with 24-hour caregivers and hospice. Dr. Aggarwal caused my mom and us a tremendous amount of undue suffering due to the prolonged needless stay at the hospital with her bizarre resistance in simply ordering an MRI. Dr. Aggarwal is extremely arrogant, uncaring and needs to find another profession. "
