"Worst doctor ever. This doctor prescribed meds for my stepmom about 6 months ago. Since then my stepmom has gotten sever auditory hallucinations combined with persecution syndrome. My stepmom is always yelling at anonymous people thinking that they are talking about her. She has stopped eating because she hears voices chastising her when she does and has since lost 30 ponds now making her under 100 pounds all together. My stepmom stopped bathing and is defecating in a bucket in a tent in my room because she fears cameras are placed all over the house. My stepmom thinks she is Truman from The Truman Show and believes that there is a hidden website on the dark web in which our family, the neighbors, and everyone else nearby tunes in to watch her life. Not only that, but she believes that the hidden cameras, she calls "bugs", also have the ability to talk to her in voices only she can hear. She is constantly fighting with these voices nonstop all day long. It has gotten so bad that last month ...
the voices told her to kill herself and she tried. She took so many pills that she was rushed to the hospital and was in in a coma for three days in the ICU. When she awoke, she was released into our care without being reexamined. Now she is throwing things and breaking things all day long. She broke all her cell phones and many other electronics in the house fearing they have bugs in them. We try to take her out to places with no electronics and she will start talking about microphones in the rocks and in the trees. Yet, this doctor has not had a single talk with us about what is happening and, according to my stepmom, has canceled many appointment over the last few months. I am leaving this review as my last attempt to save my stepmoms life. She is dying, and I do not feel as if this doctor cares at all. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
