"He is one of my favorite doctor's I've ever had. He takes time with you, I've never felt rushed. He listens, he explains things and he makes sure you understand. Very thorough. Great bedside manor, soft spoken and kind. "

"He is one of my favorite doctors. He has the best "bedside manner." I appreciate how he takes time to explain things, makes sure I understand, and listens to my questions and concerns. To name a few. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an Endocrinologist! "

"I was referred to this doctor because I was convinced I had Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis and Hyperparathyroidism. Dr. Khan did some routine blood tests. When I went for my follow up visit he did not make eye contact with me but he did say all of my bloodwork was normal. However, I had already seen the test results. I mentioned to him that the labs showed I do have Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, Hyperparathyroidism, and low phosphorus. He told me the Hashimoto’s was “not that bad”, my calcium level was actually “normal” (even though the test showed it was elevated which signifies Hyperparathyroidism), and to get my phosphorus level up to normal levels I should “drink soda” every day! Of course I immediately began my search for a new endocrinologist. I eventually found an awesome doctor who did proper labs and imaging. She sent me to The James for surgery for a badly needed parathyroidectomy and thyroidectomy. I had thyroid cancer! In my opinion Dr. Khan would have allowed me to die without doing ...
any proper testing. "

"An excellent, experienced and soft-spoken physician who met my needs with no qualms."

"He’s seems nice and is really soft spoken but when he took over my care from another doctor (retired after 8 years) he refused to continue my treatment. He kept suggesting other tests and causes that didn’t directly pertain to my diagnosis. When he finally did test me, he used a positive drug test for an over the counter medication to deny treatment. A drug I began taking because of symptoms of not being treated. Catch22. I tried to get switched to another doctor in the office and never heard back after repeated attempts. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
