"This "Doctor" clamps off and kills large sections of the sympathetic nervous system in a controversial procedure known as Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy. This is done at the core of the SNS, which communicates with almost every organ in the body for the purpose of sending communications from the brain in response to external stimuli. The procedure is done to.... get this.... prevent overly sweaty palms. Stephen has performed the procedure on multiple people under the age of 20. He used to (still may) perform a severe version of the procedure that severed a larger section of the SNS than common medical knowledge understood to be necessary for stopping palm sweating. The procedure has severe side effects, as you can imagine. Interrupting autonomic nervous system signals on this scale is completely absurd for the purpose of preventing hand sweating. A quick google search of "ETS surgery side effects" will show anyone the scale of these side effects. The procedure is banned/restricted ...
in multiple countries. I'm sure he is a good Thoracic Surgeon. Just happens to be one that completely bombed on his effort to uphold his Hippocratic oath. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
