"Miranda DeThier provided a horrible experience. She filled in for my primary doctor. During our visit, I explained the details of head pain, black outs, and a general conversation of how hard work was during the holidays. She ordered a MRI not expecting anything serious. I had a brain tumor. She then wrote up my MRI and visit meeting as a dismissal incidental finding due to previous PTSD that must have reoccurred during my work! My pain made me unable to work anymore. I went on to a team of professionals elsewhere who found her finding negligent. I had surgery to remove my tumor and get the tumor off my Trigeminal Nerve, which caused long term damage. I am now able to work again but no thanks to Miranda with her lack of compassion. I cried after her call but thankfully I was helped by real, compassionate doctors that saved me."

" almost never leave bad reviews but what happened to me today, I still can't believe. I have been suffering from some pretty heavy symptoms for going on 7 months now. My wonderful Gyno, Dr. Chuppa at the Fort Atkinson clinic had seen me awhile back and I had mentioned to her about these problems, (cold that will not go away-6months, cough, stomach issues and infections that I can't get under control.) She sends me for blood work. My white blood cells are elevated and a few other things are "off". She believes this is enough to do another test and see if they go back to normal or if we need to further look into what is going on. In the meantime. My symptoms become insane, cough and cold worsen, headachs, swollen node in neck that is now spreading into my shoulder and arm causing pain, body pain, pain in ribs and lung area, sleeping 18-21 hours at a time, increased stomach issues and pain, insane daily hot flashes and sweating, having difficulty breathing and shortness of breath.-not normal ...
or typical for a 38 year old women!! Right? I go to the Jefferson clinic to try and establish care with a family dr or nurse practitioner (old family dr) has moved. It took me a couple 2 attempts to get a hold of a human to get the appt and I had to wait a week. I get in with Mirranda, a nurse practitioner. She orders labs and a chest x-ray 2 days ago. I see my results yesterday on My compass and notice new issues like my red blood cells are also now elevated, my oxygen levels and CO2 are low, and the others are either the same or worse including a test regarding my kidneys, as well as my worsening symptoms. I don't get a call until today at 4 pm from a nurse that works in the hospital who was very nice. He had Miranda's notes regarding my tests. They read, "all tests are normal. Take a Claritin and if symptoms do not resolve in a month, come back. Regarding other symptoms, dr suspects, stress, Fibromyagia, and mental health. Please make an appt with your psychiatrist." I'm sorry, what? Not only is that truly offensive Doc, I'm glad to know you think you know what my stress is and my mental health status is! This is so dangerous on so many levels and if this was told to my kids or my mother I would have a complete fit! I am the mother of 3 kids, 2 of which are twin boys. I know what stress is. This is not caused from stress. I'm sure me having trouble to get a full breath of air all day yesterday was due to my stress and Fibro you jerk. Also, when Dr's use my Fibromyalgia as a reason for new or worsening symptoms, that is a really great way to get their patients killed. I've been diagnosed with Fibro since 2007 and never have I slept or felt such tired in all my life. Another thing, I CAN SEE MY RESULTS! I've also had a chest x-ray from 15 years ago from an entirely different clinic that would show that lung functions at that time were not normal. She doesn't know that I already know this from so many years ago. So as a "new dr" how can u say any of these tests are normal? I've discussed my 1st blood panel with an entirely different office prior to this and was told that this was not normal. So, This is either laziness, lack of care, or complete incompetence. Either way, I'm on my way to finding a new dr. I love the Pediatrics in Fort Atkinson. My kids have been going for at least 12 years. I love the Center for women's health. My Dr's there have always been so amazing but man, if you are trying to find a family dr.? Good luck. I don't even know where to go from here or how to feel about this call. This was so classic of what you here online or on the news all the time from people that have been not heard or even acknowledged by their Dr's. Now I know how that looks and feels like. Always advocate for yourself and never allow anyone make you feel like your illness is no big deal or that maybe it's in your head. I can't believe this still goes on anymore. I'm not happy. -Super sick and super pissed off patient "
