"Dr. Michael Lospinuso is an outstanding doctor. I went to him for a second opinion for severe spinal stenosis because of his high reputation. Dr Lospinuso took his time to listen and explained my condition and the surgery to me. He drew diagrams to make sure I fully understood. Dr. Lospinuso genuinely cared. Dr. Lospinuso performed the surgery without any problems. I was up on my feet and walking the same day, the pain from my condition was gone. My recovery went extremely well. My trust in Dr. Lospinuso was obviously well founded, and for that I thank him. I’d recommend Dr. Lospinuso without any hesitation."

"n my family we call Dr. Lospinuso a wizard! After being written off by other doctors that I had neuropathy and there was nothing they could do, Dr. Lospinuso was able to formulate a plan to help me because of his experience. Due to his in depth reading of the MRI and report, he saw the severe spinal stenosis and degenerative discs and was able to give me the relief I was looking for! He listened and cared about my pain and he and his staff (Christine) were helpful and understanding! I would highly recommend Dr. Lospinuso and trust him and his opinion and experience! "

"I had spinal surgery in October at Jersey Shore and found the experience very satisfying. The surgery with Dr. Lospinuso went well, all my previous pain and symptoms were gone. Dr. Lospinuso told my husband that I would be pleased with the result and that I had very little blood loss. The next day his PA told me that I lost 2 units of blood and that my hemoglobin dropped from 14.1 to 10.7. Two weeks later when i asked him about the blood loss, he seemed to be stunned and said he knew nothing about it. I left his office confused and with my questions unanswered. The following week I called the office to find out about my blood loss and why he didn't know. I got no response. The following week I sent two separate emails requesting a repeat blood test. They were also ignored. Eight months later I still have no answers from Dr. Lospinuso. Very disappointing. "

"Go to Dr Lospinuso if you want a doctor to laugh in your face over and over again about you symptoms. He kept telling me that the doctors treating me before hand had no idea what they were doing but offered no help or advice. Nothing but condescending and a bully, wish i could leave hime 0 stars."

"In 2006, Dr. Lospinuso repaired a herniated disc that was causing horrible sciatic pain with leg drop. I was so pleased with the results from that surgery, I only considered him for a laminectomy for my spinal stenosis. I'm almost 4 weeks since surgery so still recovering, but Front what I can tell, the severe pain I was experiencing from standing is gone. Looking forward to going back to pain free normal activities. I'm confident I will as long as I do my part with physical therapy. "

"Where to begin. In June I started to have neck pain and arm weakness, I could deal with the pain however the arm weakness was alarming to me. I saw a general Orthopedist and he was also concerned. He referred me to Dr. Losponosa, he is a straight shooter and right from the first time I saw him he was up front and honest, no sugar coating, just the way I like it! He always spent the necessary time with me to explain everything I was going through. I recently had ACDF surgery performed by Dr. Lospinosa and couldn't be happier with the results. My emotions leading up to the surgery were all over the place, he did a nice job reassuring me of the positive outcome I would most likely experience, while also explaining the possible risks and outcomes of surgery. I saw and or spoke to 7 doctors, 2 spine surgeons, 1 neurosurgeon, 3 general Orthopedists and my primary care physician and all agreed I needed surgery. However they differed in what levels had to be done. Dr. Losponosa actually called ...
the radiologist that did the report on my MRI to discuss the findings and after that discussion the radiologist updated his report. I was impressed he took the time to get clarification and actually noticed something on the MRI that the radiologist amended on the report after the conversation. He also encouraged me to get other opinions, and as you can see I left no stone unturned. We actually discussed several things that the other doctors mentioned to me. We discussed these findings and came to a conclusion of what levels needed to be addressed. Going into the surgery I knew at least 2 levels would be impacted, however a 3rd level was questionable, I left the decision up to him to decide during the surgery. Well to my satisfaction while doing the surgery he evaluated the area and decided a 3rd level was not necessary. At each visit he encouraged my questions and addressed each and every one, the day of the surgery I could tell he was all business and in a zone! The choice of hospital (Jersey Shore) to do the procedure couldn't have been any better, I had a great experience at the hospital. If you are looking for a spine surgeon you should consider Dr Lospinosa. He is analytical, calm, cooperative, creative, decisive, ethical, friendly, gracious, investigative, knowledgeable, passionate, reassuring, skillful, trustworthy, vigilant, and wise. "

"I was very impressed with his patience and explanation of the procedure I was having done. I came home from the hospital the next day with no complications. I am in the process of going to physical therapy and looking forward to a complete recovery. I would recommend him to anyone who is in the need of spinal surgery"
