"I started seeing Ms. Johnson in 2021 after moving to the area. At my very first visit, she listened to my concerns. However, she then told me about a hormone therapy she offers, which is NOT covered by insurance. Further research revealed that there is really no clinical evidence to support the therapy. On top of that, she had me do bloodwork, even though I wasn't fasting. My results came out less than favorable, though my new medical team says everything is normal when I fasted. I also had trouble getting in touch with anyone at the office on multiple occasions. They have since moved to using an overseas answering service, so there is really no way to talk to someone from the office without playing a game of phone tag. It has taken me several months to get the treatment I needed, and that only after I left this practice and found another doctor. I did not have a favorable experience. I felt like no one really knew what was going on. And I felt like the main goal was to get people ...
to buy this hormone "therapy" that was hundreds of dollars every few months, none of it paid by insurance (read: all profit for the provider). "

"The reviews are fake it’s the reason I went there how stupid can I be? I have a huge lab bill because they have the freedom to charge my health plan frivolous lab work that was not even required therefor not paid. Don’t trust them"

"I started seeing dr. johnson about 4 months ago now about a lump i found in my breast. initially she was great and send me to get an ultrasound to see what may have been going on. i did and the radiologist said it was possibly mastitis but to take antibiotics to confirm and if it didn't work to check back in 3 days so we can check for cancer. I advised Dr. johnson that but she told me to take them the full two weeks so i did and they did not work. in fact the lump grew...another ultrasound was sent and they said again mastitis and prescribed me MORE antibiotics. these were strong and so i told Dr. johnson if it was possible to get something else or to do something else because these had a bad affect on me before. i called her about three times in the course of a couple weeks asking her but each time she told me no, you have to take them. at a point i had to call her again and tell her my symptoms worsened because my lump grew to my whole breast and i started discharging out of my nipple. ...
I was speaking originally to the receptionist and she asked Dr. Johnson and I could hear her in the background saying well she needs to take the medicine and i can't help her unless she does. So at that point I knew she wouldn't help me anymore even though things had worsened and reached out for a second opinion who led to me to a wonderful doctor who right away took action and confirmed I have inflammatory breast cancer. An aggressive cancer that spreads so fast meaning those three months that they kept treating me for mastitis that i haven't even breastfed in over three years lost time i could have been already treating it. Disappointed in the way things were handled, how she just refused to try alternative method with me, didn't try to communicate with me and did not hear her patient after multiple cries for help. *adding in i believe she deletes her negative review because we had left one before and now it's gone.* "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
