"I have been seeing Dr. Villasuso for a few years now. His demeanor is definitely professional and all business, though I feel he's softened up a bit through the years. I suffer with psoriasis in my ear canals, which is not a common problem he treats, however, he was genuinely interested in helping me find an effective treatment. My condition caused internal weeping of fluids which led to frequent blockage. After trying different methods, we finally have it under control without having to put me on a biologic, which I'm grateful for. I've read many negative comments here but have to say that my experience has been very positive and would recommend him in a heartbeat."

"Wish there was a 0 rating. He is rude, sarcastic and obnoxious. Horrible manners. "

"I would give 0 stars if I could. This doctor is horrible. I saw him in December of 2010 after my eardrums exploded from sinus pressure on a flight home from college (I got sick during finals week). Dr Villasuso stuck a bunch of tools up my nose without any explanation of what he was doing or how it would feel and immediately swiveled around to my mother and said, "it's probably cancer." My mom, who has several masters degrees and isn't an idiot, asked him nicely if maybe it could be some sort of sinus infection. Dr. Villasuso wouldn't even let her finish the question, he SNAPPED at her and said "do not interrupt me, I am a medical doctor and I am telling you the diagnosis." My mom started tearing up (as mothers do when they are just told their child has CANCER), and he just stood up and left the room, but on his way out he told both of us I needed to cancel my next semester of college, and to schedule a biopsy at the front desk. Fast forward to the biopsy, he stuck long scissors up my ...
nose with no warning or acknowledgement that it was going to be VERY PAINFUL to have pieces of my adenoid cut out. Just to sit still. Fast forward again to the biopsy results, after weeks of believing I had "cancer" according to Dr. idiot Villasuso, it turned out my adenoids were infected and all I needed was some antibiotics and to have them removed eventually. I finished my next semester and had my adenoids removed that next summer, and the surgeon (NOT Dr. Villasuso) actually came out to apologize to my mom when he realized what we dealt with. It very clearly was not cancer, it never should have been the first "diagnosis" right out of Dr. Villasuso's mouth, ESPECIALLY before any sort of biopsy. And to tell us I need to cancel my next semester of school during the first visit? IDIOT. I can't believe he hasn't been fired from Cleveland Clinic after all these years. Avoid this condescending imbecile unless you want someone to wildly misdiagnose you and not give a crap. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
