"I have a spinal deformity and am so grateful to have been treated by Dr Borenstein for several years now. He has enabled my mobility such that I have been able to avoid surgery. He also identified a possible gluten sensitivity that was later confirmed by a gastroenterologist. "

"I Would not recommend Dr. Borenstein if you suffer from Lupus. He misdiagnosed me in 2016 with mixed connective tissue disease. He was treating me for nearly 3 years for Rheumatoid Arthritis, consequently my health suffered until I developed Lupus Nephritis and was sent to see a Nephrology doctor. By then I was in bad enough shape that I required infusion treatments in the hospital to recover. I recently went to a doctor (Dr. Donald Thomas) who is knowledgeable of Lupus and he confirmed that I just suffered from Lupus. Very disturbing, especially since by not receiving the proper care at the onset of this disease my hands are now deformed. Lesson learned: get a 2nd opinion as soon as possible. All Rheumatology doctors are not capable of treating patients with Lupus."

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
