"My mother has been dealing with side effects of radiation therapy for a while now. My father and her have had about three appointments with this doctor, but the last visit was a nightmare. Dr. Lawler acted extremely unprofessionally and is an extremely egotistical person. The doctors at Marshfield Clinic, as well as Aspirus said my mother wasn’t going to make it a few months back, and gave up on her. Obviously, we were going to try to find another hospital with doctors who are actually willing to do anything they can to save her. We had gone to Mayo Clinic because they were willing to take on her case. We came back and did an MRI at Marshfield Clinic, and the results indicated that she had gotten better. Dr. Lawler was not aware that we had sought help elsewhere after he couldn’t help her, and got frustrated. He proceeded to blow up at my dad, saying that he should, “get himself checked out” by the doctors who helped my mom and Mayo. He also pulled the “do you know who I am?” card. My ...
dad didn’t say anything and let Dr. Lawler criticize his choices and attack him. Seriously, he is a grown man and a professional, yet he acts like a child. He is rude, condescending, and has a god complex. Find another provider if you can, he is awful. "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
