"I just finished up my surfer's ear surgery with Dr. Beros and his team. The surgery was painless and the recover was super fast. I feel like a new man! I highly recommend it if you are thinking about it."

"I am so glad I found Dr. Beros to surgically repair my chronic surfer's ear. He never made me wait for my appointments, he fully informed me about the procedure, and was totally accurate in predicting the outcome and my recovery. I had a very quick and almost pain free recovery and was able to return to the surf in just a few weeks. Overall, I highly recommend consulting Dr. Beros for your care needs. If you want to correct your surfer's ear, this is the man to see! 3/15/23 Tracy Richmond"

"This was my second visit with this provider. The first visit was 18 months prior to the visit. He did not review any notes, so did not remember seeing me before. This visit was rushed, he didn't listen, and he really didn't seem to care. He told me he's a surgeon, so he referred me to see other specialists. When I lived in another city, my ENT always treated me for medical and well as surgical conditions. I am a very seasoned Nursing Professor and Educator, so I expect all healthcare providers to listen to what patients have to say and do a detailed assessment. I will not return to see this physician. "I first visited Dr. Beros a few months ago to finally get my deviated septum fixed and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Dr. Beros was extremely friendly, patient, and caring from diagnosis to final check-in. He absolutely knows his stuff and went the extra mile in his surgery recommendation to ensure I could breathe clearly afterward. The surgery went super smoothly, downtime was minimal, and I'm happy to say I can breathe freely one month post-op which has done wonders for my sleep and overall quality of life. I'm grateful to have been referred to Dr. Beros and totally recommend his excellent care!"

"I just had surfers-ear surgery by Dr Beros. Overall everything went as well as could possibly be hoped for. I was impressed with the staff at the clinic - courteous and I was always seen promptly when I turned up for an appointment. The surgery itself is quite complex and long - you are under for several hours, so expect some initial post surgical nausea. However , as Dr. Beros does the surgery through the ear canal, recovery is fast - you can be back in the water after two weeks. The only downside was having an ear packed with dressing for two weeks and the accompanying mild discomfort and hearing difficulties. If you have surfers ear that is getting close to full closure or suffer from repeated ear infections , just get it done!"

"Dr. Beros is a pro, exacting, very clear, and highly organized. He completed my surfer's ear surgery exactly how he described it would happen. While the procedure is no joke and the healing was rough in the first days after surgery, he clarity and professionalism helped ease being out of the water and the hassle of keeping your ear dry in the shower etc. I was stoked to be back in the water in 3 weeks. I recommend him highly."

"Perhaps Dr. Beros is a good surgeon and a poor doctor, but this review is for having seen him for doctoring, not surgery, so here goes... My appointment was to establish care with an ENT specialist because I have a long, genetically-complex endocrinology history that’s messed up the rest of me over decades. Establishing care with a new medical provider inherently which requires a longer appointment for everyone, because physicians must spend time with new patients to obtain their background information and perform an initial exam. Those appointments cost more, too. Instead, Dr. Beros rushed through my appointment. He interrupted me repeatedly in order to control me, directing me, which was offensive. In doing so, he also did not get all the relevant information he needed for accuracy. I did not even get to tell him my ear was hurting and had been hurting for days. The result of rushing me, interrupting me, and not listening well was his report shows an incorrect important detail; ...
he gave me partial information and I was not allowed the freedom or time to question him fully about that partial information; he rushed to a conclusion with little time spent on me personally as an individual organism; and two days after the appointment, I was in urgent care with even more ear pain because I had an ear infection! He wasted my time and money. If a surgeon wants to also serve as a doctor, he or she needs to act like a doctor, not just a surgeon. That requires seeing and hearing patients holistically as individual organisms. I am looking for a new ENT specialist. "

"Dr. Beros and his staff were simply awesome. Very comfortable and easy experience to take care of my surfer's ear. I would reccomend this to anyone suffering from surfer's ear. I wish I would have done it years ago! "

"Couldn't care more about the patient. Beros is the definition of a greedy doctor who only cares about the money in his pockets. Overcharges for consultations and surgery. Unprofessional staff! "

"Great results, very satisfied! I have been using earplugs for over 17 years when I was first told my surfer's ear was blocking 75% of my ear canal. Constant ear infections after surfing and using drops to clear it out were the indicators. At that time (2004) I was told the surgery was quite extensive with the incision behind the ear and using a dremel at 130 decibels right in front of the eardrum. Friends that have had it done that way told me about their ears ringing for a few days after the operation. I chose to wait. When I visited Dr. Beros this year (2021) I voiced my concerns about the surgery. I had chosen him after a lot of research and Dr. Beros reassured me that he's done 500+ surgeries over the past 20+ years with a great level of success with the approach inside of the ear canal using a chisel for bone removal. The benefit is quicker recovery and less pain post-op. One point Dr. Beros made with my initial visit was the timing. If I waited until the ear canal was fully ...
closed off, the approach would have required the more intense procedure with the dremel. In my research, I wasn't aware the chisel approach is best when you can still see the eardrum as a point of reference. My procedure was performed when my ear canal was almost totally blocked, to about the size of the tip of a mechanical pencil. I recommend having this surgery done before the ear is totally blocked and checking with Dr. Beros if you think you may have surfer's ear. Using Dr. Beros' approach, I didn't have to use pain killers after one dose of Tylenol that evening on the day of surgery. I was back in the water within 3-weeks post-op with no complications or pain. Dr. Beros is a great doctor, very competent and has good bedside manner which made it a really comfortable process for me to have my surfer's ear fixed. I would highly recommend Dr. Beros for this procedure. "

"Dr. Beros performed surfer's ear surgery on my right ear. The surgery was preceded by a very severe ear infection with a dramatic loss of hearing. Initial visits to urgent care, and my primary care provider, were unable to remedy the ear infection. Dr. Beros was successful in clearing the ear infection, which then restored my hearing. We then discussed and scheduled my surfer's ear surgery. Dr. Beros demeanor is calming and reassuring. He always took time to answer all of my questions prior to, during, and after the surgery. My recovery time was 3 weeks. I had little to no pain after the surgery, much to my disbelief, but consistent with Dr. Beros description of the recovery process. I'm now a few months out from the surgery and back to surfing regularly. I've had no issues with my ear since. I'm grateful for his care and expertise during through this process. I would highly recommend Dr. Beros."

"I am 6 weeks after sinus surgery with Dr. Beros and feel great! Dr. Beros was excellent throughout the entire process - from walking me through the process prior to surgery, the 3-hour surgery itself, and the follow-up visits to get me to 100%. I am breathing much better now! I would note that in my experience the first few weeks of recovery from sinus surgery is very challenging. For weeks I was was congested with bloody mucus that seemed never ending. People should be aware that it takes a solid month to start feeling good so be patient, but after everything comes out (4 weeks for me), I feel great - breathing better with less headaches! Thank you Dr. Beros!"

"After my Dental Hygienist detected a lump on the left side of my jaw, I was referred to Dr. Beros for further evaluation. The mass turned out to be a benign neoplasm of the parotid gland , but I had opted for surgery. Dr. Beros and his medical team were professional and compassionate during the whole process. The surgery went without any complications and the healing process was as Dr. Beros had previously described to me. Family and friends (including an Emergency Room doctor) were impressed with the small, straight stitches. I have kidded Dr. Beros that he must be using needlepoint to fine tune his skills. I have little to no scarring. I am so grateful to Dr. Beros for handling this medical issue and would recommend him to anyone without reservation. "
