" Please, please don’t trust Dr. Chow’s positive reviews on sites like RealSelf, etc, because he is gaming so many of them. To my anger, my review there got deleted: he’s literally paying the site to take bad reviews down and keep fake good reviews up (RealSelf is just one of the many unethical sites in a largely unregulated industry that just has doctors pay them for a good reputation as their cash cow). "I had my nose botched and I’d like to speak on my entire experience here, because so many things about his office, staff, etc. are just messed up, aside from just Dr. Chow’s incompetence itself. Had a rhinoplasty that went wrong, and he tries to pass it off/gaslight me saying it's a “good result” even when my close friends tell me it definitely could look better. The botch is obvious. Now I have to spend more time and money getting this fixed elsewhere while looking like a mess. Apparently any procedure he does looks ok to this man, he’s just interested in protecting himself. I’ve had hairdressers try to convince me the same to try to cover themselves when it’s obvious they didn’t do a good job; it’s just a tactic. Being botched really affects you mentally...I am not surprised that people get suiicdal over this now that I've gone through it - it affects you for the rest of your life but Dr.Chow doesn't even care about you - he's just afraid of getting sued and tries to protect his ...
business over the interests of his patients. Dr. Chow is also incredibly cocky as an individual. I kid you not when I say that he thinks that he’s some kind of ladies’ man, and that that his patients, who are mainly women, throw themselves at him - on one visit, I was anxious from some work stresses, and apparently he starts thinking I look nervous because of him, because he starts flirting/teasing me. Extremely full of himself and so pretentious to assume. It put me off so much; I just can’t make this stuff up. He really needs to learn some humility, no one is into himself as much as he is. And no one can upset him much either: not the people he’s paying as staff, and certainly not his patients because they don’t want their face/body messed up. It probably contributed to him inflating his own ego so much over the years. It’s almost shocking to see this guy get so cocky about himself when he didn’t exactly win the lottery in the looks department himself (he’s insecure and full of ego too, btw). He has literally no one to knock his giant ego back down to a healthy level. Chow just never grew up, a guy like this should be embarrassed of himself. How he’s both this cocky about being a womanizer while having zero communication skills (wow, so attractive) at his age is a mystery - how he sees himself is a reflection of his character, and he needs help. "I was literally abandoned by Dr. Chow as soon as it was clear that my healing for my rhinoplasty wasn’t going well. This is clear medical negligence when he botches someone. My nose is deformed and he doesn't have an ounce of empathy. Appointments felt consistently rushed, as if I’m being treated like cattle, in and out. This happens whether or not he deliberately tries to shoo me out the door whenever I want answers, aka when the conversation makes him nervous or uncomfortable. He just won’t admit to his mistakes in an effort to protect himself over the interests and care for his patients. This kind of question dodging is negligent and disgusting - he and his office literally stopped answering all emails and phone calls from me. His staff aren’t the nicest, either: one of them is two-faced, and two others are extremely judgmental - not the energy you want to deal with at a surgery center, unless you’re a doctor trying to make money off of insecurities. Staff are just like him, ...
so revoltingly loyal to him that they turn a blind eye to his lack of ethics just for the sake of their paychecks. Jennifer (his secretary) won’t answer the phone when it’s me calling and try to dodge me - I’ve tested it several times, both with my caller ID and calling anonymously - I’ve called for days with caller ID on, and I got no answer until I called on anon. Blatant responsibility dodging and zero accountability or care for patients. He also tried to sneakily charge me a $500 revisional fee through his secretary, despite telling me revisions were free beforehand. He gossips about you with his entire staff too. I apparently also had no privacy or respect until I could tell by some offhanded comments what was being said about me. I was also completely ignored for a very long 3 week office holiday break, and left to deal with some post-op pain alone and unattended until the office actually operated again. If you need any kind of care or concern addressed over their holidays, you’re screwed. "

"Had an eye surgery botched, I wanted a crease way higher, but instead, over the course of a couple months, the height of the new crease dropped back down to where it was originally - money wasted. But now I can never get what I want - my scar from the cut is too low, and any revision to make my crease higher would show the scar. On top of that, Dr.Chow was incredibly rude to me during one of my appointments. I came in for only 1 facial procedure, but without prompting, he suggested two additional procedures for my face that were completely uncalled for, which included mentioning that my cheeks got fatter recently and he could just remove it (buccal fat removal). So rude and disrespectful. No doctor should go around insulting the looks of their customers just because they want to make more money off of them. For the record, I’m 100% confident and secure in my looks but this enraged me (fyi, yes, you can be secure and still want surgery), and I can easily see how someone less secure "

Data Transparency and Trust: Understanding WebMD Doctor Listings and Reviews

We know that finding the right doctor or provider is important to your health. That’s why we want to ensure you have confidence in the provider profiles and listings you see on WebMD Care. Our provider data is sourced from the physicians themselves as well as publicly available databases. Any doctor or provider who claims their profile by verifying themselves can update their information and provide additional data on their specialties, education, accepted insurances, conditions they treat, and procedures they perform.

All the physician and provider reviews on WebMD Care are provided by users just like you. Knowing these reviews provide insight into how other patients feel about a doctor, we maintain internal policies and protocols to ensure the quality and accuracy of all reviews. Providers are not able to remove or modify reviews on their own. Reviews can only be removed after an internal review by our customer service team.

We value your input and encourage you to reach out to our support team if you encounter any issues.
