Dr. Adrienne Stewart received her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine with Highest Academic Achievement from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. She coauthored and published the book Integrative Health: A Guide to Living Well and is the founding Secretary of the Endocrinology Association of Naturopathic Physicians. Prior to medical school, she graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences with a minor in Chemistry. She was the first Naturopathic Doctor to attend Dr. Andrew Weil’s elective rotation at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Stewart’s residency at Southwest Naturopathic Medical Center focused on primary care for patients with acute and chronic disease. She then joined Dr. Alan Christianson’s practice and focused on patients with hormone, thyroid and adrenal dysfunction. Dr. Stewart has also completed comprehensive training in Environmental Medicine. When she was a young girl, Dr. Stewart watched her mother struggle with chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia. Going from doctor to doctor, she learned how she did and did not want her family to be treated and how disease can affect the entire family. These early experiences drew her to become a Naturopathic Medical Doctor. For more information, please visit www.drstew.com.View More
